I believe I sent out a apology about my screw-up to the list, and I've
attached that same email for your reference.

Not sure why you're jumping to conclusions here.

I believe we all use internal mailing lists within our organizations for
internal communications (e.g. ogsa-security@globus.org), and I'm not going
to apologize for that.

We've only started this ogsa-sec-wg list very recently after it finally got
setup at GGF in September.
Many of the discussions on the security-wg list are related to the ogsa
security, and I've tried to cross-post those to make the migration of
topics smooth and to ensure that people wouldn't miss anything interesting
- accidentally I cross posted to an internal list instead of ogsa-sec-wg.

I believe that I have been very communicative and open on the security
related lists, and I can assure you that we do not have any massive secret
efforts underway that would solve all our problems. (to be honest, I wish
we had the resources for that ;-)

So, there is no need for conspiracy theories, and please help me to make
good use of this ogsa-sec-wg@gridforum.org in the future.

Sincerely, Frank.

Sorry, but I screwed up in some previous postings where I encouraged you to
subscribe to the ogsa security mailing list, but instead I mentioned and
cc'ed the wrong list.
The right email address for that list is "ogsa-sec-wg@gridforum.org"
I've copied the relevant info for subscription from the webpage here:

General Discussion Email: ogsa-sec-wg@gridforum.org
Email Archive:
http://www-unix.gridforum.org/mail_archive/ogsa-sec-wg/maillist.html (Note:
not working as of 9/23/02)

To subscribe to our email list, send email to majordomo@gridforum.org with
the body "subscribe ogsa-sec-wg". Do not include the quotation marks. You
must be a member of an email list to post to it. If you subscribe to a the
working group list please be sure to also subscribe to the GGF general list
(grid-announce@gridforum.org). To do this, send email to
majordomo@gridforum.org with "subscribe grid-announce" as a single line in
the message body.

Sorry again,
Frank.
