[ggf-ogsa-sec-wg] Any "experiences" papers for OGSA SEC WG?

Folks,

As you know from Dane's email from Friday, we have been wondering how best
to jump-start the OGSA SEC WG.

In a recent steering group meeting, Charlie Catlett, the "Grand Poobah" of
the GGF, wanted us (the steering group members--I wear multiple hats in the
GGF) to re-iterate to GGF members the importance of the "Experimental"
document type (see http://www.ggf.org/documents/default.htm)

In many ways, I think the experimental document type might be *exactly* what
the members of the group should be producing right now. My group at UVa that
has been creating a hosting environment for Grid Services on .NET (see
http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~humphrey/GCG/ogsi.net.html) and we have been
experimenting with WS-Security, WS-Policy, WS-Trust, etc., and we are hoping
to produce such an experiences paper ("This is what worked, this is what we
see as problems, etc.")

So, do any of you have such a document either written or you're thinking
about writing it? More specifically, I'm looking for documents that describe
experiences implementing something that is specifically identified in either
the "OGSA Security Roadmap" document or the "Security Architecture for Open
Grid Services" document? (see
https://forge.gridforum.org/docman2/ViewCategory.php?group_id=59&category_id
=293) I am also certainly interested in things that are *NOT* specifically
identified in the docs, but which you believe is important/necessary.

Think of this as an opportunity for you to tell interested parties (this
mailing list) about your particular project that is part of the OGSA SEC
landscape. I'm looking for posts to this list that briefly describe the
project, how it fits into the OGSA SEC WG, and perhaps a URL for more
information. Let's collect these and then figure out what to do with them
:^)

Thanks!
Marty
