Please take this as a straw-man – really just to get comments from the experts.

Here is the list of External Milestones from out web site:

July 2002	Begin work on tools classification
Oct 2002	Near-final draft of performance characteristics hierarchy document to GFSG
Mar 2003	Finish work on tools classification web page (Done.)
Mar 2003	Begin work on schema document
Apr 2003	Submit performance characteristics document to GFSG (Done.)
Nov 2003	First draft of schema document (Done.)
June 2004	Submit schema document to GFSG

I suggest we modify / add something like (Need to get the dates correct I guess):

Oct 2004 Version 1 Schema in Draft

May 2005 Document for Version 1 Schema ready for discussion (assuming we do that after consulting at GGF13)

May 2005 Pilot Demonstrations of Version 1 Schema

Jun 2005 Initial Draft of Version2 Schema ready for discussion at GGF14 (maybe this is too detailed and should be in the internal milestones)

Dec 2005 Version2 Schema ready for GFSG

???
