in (very) partial fulfillment of what I promised 3 weeks ago, here's the 
start of a list of differences between request and response schemas.
Comparison of Report / Request schemas on the web

characteristic -- same
subject -- same, except for Endpoint, see below
methodology, method -- rename report back to 'methodology'

Methodology, Method(ology) -- same
Endpoint -- request makes this a token, report has element 'which'

(request.statistic, report.result.Statistic )

interval, timeInterval -- first is a double or token, second is list of timestamps
xxx, name -- Allows free-form satistics
raw, xxx
min, xxx
count, xxx
..etc..   -- Hardcoded list of statistics
Attributes, xxx -- 'Required' can be added to a statistic?
