Subject: G-API BoF at GGF

Dear Colleagues,
	I would like to draw your attention to an important meeting at GGF in
Chicago next week.  On Wednesday, Oct 8 at 2Pm in the Mayfair Room at
the Sheraton Hotel, a BoF session is being organized by Andre Merzky
and others.  The primary topic is to discuss APIs for accessing grid
services from within applications.  Further information can be found at
http://www.zib.de/ggf/apps/gapi/

	This BoF was organized over the spring and summer, based on input from
a large number of researchers attending various meetings of the GGF
Applications Research Group, the Grid Applications Workshops and
Tutorials held in conjunction with GGF and HPDC, and GridStart meetings
held in Brussels.   If you have interest in developing and using
applications on the Grid, I strongly encourage you to attend and give
your input!
