Re: what's up

Hi Stephen (and the rest of the group) -

The group's been in hibernation for a bit due to competing priorities - my fault - but it's not dead. In fact there has been some genuine interest expressed by [various funding sources] in our work... (more on that when we talk in Seattle).

I've just restarted working with Nathan Stone and Thilo on a draft "picture of the GridCPR design" which will go out to the group before the end of this week.

I will be out on travel from Saturday until the end of the month. I will be able to attend to comments Wednesday through Friday of next week.

We have requested 2 90-minute working sessions for GGF8 in Seattle - one to go over architecture, the other to start the API discussion. I believe the sessions have been scheduled for the Thursday of that week.

More soon -

- Derek

Is this group still alive? I've seen no postings indicating any
meaningful activity since GGF 7. What's occurring?

Best regards,
