New version of GSI plugin for gSOAP released

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that we released version 1.5.1 of GSI plugin for
gSOAP.

The new release now works with gSOAP v2.2.3.b and Globus Toolkit 2.2.4, and
is freely available at

INTEROPERABILITY WITH ALPHA VERSION of Globus Toolkit 3.0

This software needs to be linked against the GSI library available in the
experimental Globus Toolkit version 2.3, currently available from cvs only,
or against the GSI library available in the alpha 3 version of Globus
Toolkit 3.0 in order to provide full interoperability. This is because
Globus Toolkit 3.0 uses a different proxy format than v2.2.x

The GSI plugin v1.5.1 can be compiled using alpha 3 version of Globus
Toolkit 3.0
See the README and INSTALL files for details.
We provide in this release a simple example server and its related clients
that works under alpha 3 version of Globus Toolkit 3.0
