GGF1: Proposed Agenda

All -

We are working on the agenda for GGF1.  We hope to have several
US and EU CP presentations, and to discuss the CP inputs by 
presenting summaries.  Note: the due date for contributing a
CP is Feb 20th.  These CP summaries will become part of the GF
material, and so if you want your jproject to be part of our
discussions, please send me a CP summary.  You can download
a template from the GCE website:
    http://www.computingportals.org

These are very short and very simple to fill out.  So far I have
6 US papers AND NO European contributions!!!!  We really want
to represent our EU colleagues, so please consider contributing.

We are also interested in starting a  "Technology Focus" where 
we will concentrate on how GCE's use technologies and how this 
relates to one or more GF working groups.   At each GGF meeting
we will focus on one technology such as GIS or security or
accounts, etc. 

Please let me know if there is anything else you would like to
see added to our list.

 1.1  Misc./updates/etc. (5-10 mins)
        * Intros
        * Discuss interest of EU to have a EuroGrid GCE WG
 1.2  Community Practice presentations (3@15 mins each)
 1.3  Review/discussion/update of Synthesis of CP's (30 mins)
        * correlate data with GF dictionary terms and other working groups
        * seek task leads to gather information/integration ideas
            from other WG's.
        * correlation with terms for Grid Forum Dictionary?
        * BP templates review/get new ones?

Session #2:  
 2.1  Community Practice presentations (3@15 mins each)
 2.2  Technology Focus:  
        Implementing and Using Grid Information Services (30 mins).
        * note: put here so it does not conflict with GIS-WG
        * Globus/GIS/GRIS model...are there others?
        * propose some candidate object classes
        * goal is to have a paper (?) for adoption by next GF mtg\
            - Identify someone to lead this activity.
        * start with CP summaries data/input
        * Some questions:
            - how do GCE's currently use Information Services?
            - What kinds are used? GLoubus GRIS, Oracle DB, local, global? 
            - How do different GCE's share data/services/etc.?
            - What is working, what is broken?
        * Feedback to other working groups
            - What is being used from other WG's? why/why not?
 2.3  CP&E organization -- call for papers
 2.4  Plans for next meeting
