RE: Computing Portals WG of JavaGrande



I fully agree- having this group be dual-homed into GF as well as JG would 
be a tremendous plus.

Realistically, being a GF working group implies that the group meets during 
the 3x/year GF workshops.  This is so that there is good 
cross-fertilization among the GF working groups.  Is there a similar 
requirement in order to be considered a JG subgroup?  If so that might 
present a logistical problem.  If this is the case then the benefits to 
bridging between GF and JG are  large enough that it is well worth trying 
to thread that needle.
