will provide participants an overview of how to build a grid web portal using
tools developed by the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC). GridPort
is TACC's popular toolkit for building flexible Web portals ~ enabling
researchers to easily use advanced computational resources connected by Grid
computing software. This course will present the concepts required to
build a grid enabled portal using GridPort. Basic knowledge of Linux and
programming in Java is required. Knowledge of Globus is recommended. For course enrollment and additional details, please
