[caops-wg] [Fwd: [pgm-rg] GGF12 Workshop Scheduling]

See note below about GGF12 workshop co-hosted by PGM, PNPA, ASTRO, GUS.
1/2 day seems a bit short for the proposed agenda (original workshop proposal is attached.)

The proposal for the workshop we are hosting at GGF12 in Brussels has been
accepted, but we have been give a half-day slot instead of a full day
slot.

Given the variety of topics specified in the proposal (see the proposal as
submitted last month at
http://www-unix.gridforum.org/mail_archive/pgm-rg/2004/06/msg00008.html),
is half a day (9:30-13:30) enough time? Or should we try to push for a
full day?

Do we have speakers in mind who will be addressing the topics outlined in
the proposal? How much time do we expect each speaker to need? Have any of
the speakers been contacted yet? What are they being told?

Please post responses to the email list, so we can get this resolved
quickly. If we're going to push for a full day, the GGF12 planning team
needs to know ASAP.

thx
LM

Hi Judith, Laura and Steve,
we have finally completed the schedule for ggf12. it is really
hard because the meeting is so short. but we have your workshop
scheduled for thurs, sept 23 from 9:00-1:30. is this o.k.?
the alternative is monday, but you will be competing with a group
of 3 other workshops and the enterprise grid plenary.
also i did not include the entire list of organizers on this email.
sorry. i will let you talk this over with them.
